Yoruba is such a beautiful language which is quite dynamic in it's own way. Could remember those times when my father will always compare any object or situation with something else. then I do wonder what the similarities were if any. It dawn on me when I understand figure of speech in English. Below examples are popular among lots that grew up hearing.
